About
Are you part of God's Family at YBC?
There's good news for you!
We've been longing to have our own church website for all of us near and far.
The internet has many features to help us grow in both spiritual and excellent networking between fellow believers at different levels of ages
and interests in the age of all things digital. Through our websites, we could better inform what's happening in the community and church's
missions, reach to different parts of the world, and also provide contents to help people with weekly sermons, music, photos in every possible
digital format, such as electronic books, mp3, photo and video files. We will try to update periodical activities and programs from different
organizations such as Sunday school, Youths, Young Adults, Women Ass., health, street children, and gospel ministries etc. We'll make this
place your home away from home and you'll never miss a church program again.
Now, we believe that God has given has an opportunity to have a presence on the web. We are at the very beginning and we want you to participate
in this mission in a way you can - from praying, help developing the web, to the content suggestions, and news updating, and financial assistance.
We have timeframe to finish the development and launching of this websites - the first Sunday of September 2011.
We'll see you surfing on
ywamabaptistchurch.org on this day!
The Volunteers Team
Objective
Why do we develope ywamabaptistchurch.org?
We do not have intention to save the world!
But we are not developing our church's website strictly because of other congregations have one.
Anyway, here below are a few ideas that inspired us to do so.
- 1. To provide Church missions from IT dimension
- 2. To provide spiritual needs of church members anytime, anywhere
- 3. To deliver timely information on church missions, programs, and activities
- 4. To enable counseling service by means of internet
- 5. To implement, collect, archive, and maintain church related data in digital formats
- 6. To help researchers from our web contents and information
- 7. To enable better way of networking with church members scattered all over the world
- 8. To gather and utilize different abilities and talents within the community
The Contents
Contents of the websites
The lifeblood of a website is its contents.
There is a group of volunteers brainstorming on what to include, how the information is display, user interface, technology, and features.
We want to hear from you while we're at the beginning of the development. Give us feedbacks, and suggestions.
Your comments and ideas will help us enormously and make us confidence in what we are doing.
